SOLVENT is a Computational Fluid Dynamics tool for the simulation of fluid flow, heat transfer and smoke transport in tunnels. SOLVENT was developed specifically for tunnel ventilation applications during Phase IV of the Memorial Tunnel Fire Ventilation Test Program. SOLVENT has undergone extensive validation using the Memorial Tunnel fire tests.
